Copyright law protects the rights of songwriters and composers by giving them exclusive ownership over their music. This means that only they can sell copies of their music, and only they can authorize others to perform their songs.

Protect Yourself From Copyright Infringement.
If you’re not sure whether you should register your songs online, here are some reasons why it’s important:
1) You can prevent unauthorized use of your music.
2) You can receive royalties when people buy your music.
3) You can make money off your music.

Avoid Legal Hassles.
Copyright law protects your rights as an artist by giving you exclusive ownership of your work. However, there are times when you need to register your song with the U.S. Copyright Office. This is especially true if you plan to sell your music online because without registration, anyone who downloads your music could potentially claim that they own it.

Save Time and Money.
If you’re planning to make money off your music, registering your songs online will save you time and money. You won’t have to pay any fees to register your songs, and you won’t have the hassle of sending them to the Copyright Office.

Increase Revenue.
There are several reasons why you should register your songs online. First, it protects you from copyright infringement. Second, it allows you to collect royalties. Third, it makes it easier for people to find your music. Fourth, it helps you build your fan base. And finally, it gives you more control over how your music is used.

Build Your Brand.
If you want to make money off your music, then you need to build your brand. You need to become known as an artist who creates quality music. This means building a strong social media following, getting noticed by industry professionals, and creating a website with high-quality content.

Official Charts Music - How To Register Your Own Song On The UK Singles & Albums Charts https://www.longemagazine.com/music-clients/item/813-official-charts-music.html https://www.longemagazine.com/music-clients/item/813-official-charts-music.html Offical Chart Registration

The Official Charts Company (OCC) is an independent company that collects data for the UK singles chart. It also compiles sales figures for albums and EPs.

How Do I Register My Own Songs?
If you’re looking to register your own songs on the UK Singles Chart, you’ll first need to submit your song to the OCC. You can do this by uploading your track to one of the online services provided by the OCC. Once your track has been submitted, the OCC will send you a confirmation email with details of how to proceed.

How Much Does it Cost?
There are two ways to register your own song on the UK Singles chart. The first option is to pay £20 per song. This fee covers the cost of submitting your track to the OCC. The second option is to upload your track to an online service provider such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Google Play, Deezer, Tidal, or XBox Music. These providers charge between £0.99 and £9.99 per month.

How long will it take?
Once you have registered your song with the OCC, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. You will then have 14 days to submit your track to the OBS. If you do not submit your track by this deadline, your song will automatically be removed from the charts.

Can I Sell my Tracks Directly from Spotify?
No. It is against the rules to sell your tracks directly from Spotify. However, there are some exceptions. If you are signed to an independent record label, you can register your songs with the OCC and sell them through iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, etc.

Is There Any Restrictions?
You must be signed to a major record label to register your song on the official charts. This means that you cannot register your own songs on the official charts unless you are signed to a major record company.
