BIO:

J J Arv grew up on a farm on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia surrounded by a very musical family and community. She has been singing for as long as she can remember and began singing publicly at the age of 10 and her love for music grew over the years as she did school musicals and sung for church.

As hard moments hit in life, J J found herself processing these through writing songs. Then in 2020, she came across an ad for an online music challenge called Christian Music Mentor. Little did she know that this challenge would connect her with people all over the world and help her to begin doing something she loved for a job. She now does solo and collaborative gigs all up and down the Peninsula performing both covers and originals as well as singing for weddings. Alongside the live gigs, JJ has released nine original songs ranging in vibe and genre from folk all the way through to cinematic singer-songwriter styles.

She recognizes that music cuts through the logical parts of our brains and hits the emotional center enabling it to be an incredibly healing, connecting, and growing experience. This is her desire, that those who listen to her music will feel less alone, find motivation and strength to continue to grow and become the best version of themselves, and they will find healing.
