How did you start in the music business?
I have been involved in music for over 40 years, everything from bands to music production and writing.

What kind of music do you typically create?
I write original music for smooth jazz, gospel, country, R&B, and Christian contemporary genres. My upbringing and beliefs are based on the Gospel and Christianity, which are the inspiration for everything I do.

What is the current project about?
I just finished working in the studio to release my first two Gospel songs, Holy of Holies and Just One Touch. Holy of Holies talks about the desire for us to be closer to God to take us to a place where we can be consumed by his awesome love and presence.

Just One Touch- Talks about how we all need just that one touch from God that will change our lives, when all else seems to have so much despair and no hope that is when we need that one touch.

How do you feel it will inspire others?
I write with real experiences and I know that these two recent songs will encourage and uplift the soul!

What is your creative process like?
Normally I have the music first and then the lyrics follow however for these two latest songs it was just the opposite!

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Kirk Franklin or Fred Hammond

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
It would not be me opening a show as my days of signing are far behind me. I would love to see my songs performed in the Appolo!

What is one message you would give to your fans?

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
having all music at your fingertips is truly amazing and being able to share music across the globe is very impactful!

What is the most useless talent you have?
I cannot read any music!

Do you sing in the shower? What songs? What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
Yes sometimes I sing in the shower, Music composition is a passion, not a career for me. I truly enjoy what I do and just want others to enjoy it as well.
