What first got you into music?

I would write poetry freshman year of high school, then my father told me one of my older cousins is working on music, got one of his CDs for me when I have seen it was possible to create on my own I never looked back, it started with hanging computer mics in my closet, then grew to professional studios.

Who inspired you to make music?

A combination of my older cousin “Fishh” and my older cousin lajuanna who I would hear was in the industry making moves when I was growing up.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

The music that I create is packed with clever bars, and true feelings about my day today, and what I go through to succeed. Also mixing in lines to motivate people to listen. Mostly high energy but some songs that speak to you when you feel like you can’t move forward.

What is your creative process like?

Throughout my day when I’m not in the booth, I think of hooks, concepts, and clever bars and write them down. When I get in the studio I listen to beats and put together thoughts from earlier in the day then form my verses around it...

Sometimes I will hear a beat though and immediately something pops in my head and I run with it.

I have no Talents that have no use to me, I can utilize everything I am good at

What are your favorite and least favorite venues? El rey theatre one of my favorites, Los Globos, and a bunch of bars.

Made it more accessible for everybody to participate, and also made it easier to maintain ownership and leverage better deals

I love performing period, I just like being on stage.

What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

Stayed out the way, and when I was doing something I shouldn’t have been I was blessed to not have been caught... besides minor school shit catching fades and getting suspended.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Work hard when it’s time to work hard and play hard when it’s time to play. Advice from my pops

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be? What’s next for you?

I would change the fact that I’m not apart of it by claiming my stake. And the takeover is next, making Jordan Iverson a household name with the help of my team and my manager Purfekstorm

Jordan Iverson is an American Rapper from Duarte, California who most recently lost his father, his biggest supporter, to Cancer. Iverson recalls the moment he knew he was gifted when his father called him after hearing him pour out all of his emotions onto his new “Insane” record. Iverson was only 14 at the time that he recorded his first mixtape, he was going through a huge transition and doing his best to adjust. Reflecting, it was that moment that stood out as a turning point in Iverson’s career. Losing his father during the COVID-19 Pandemic has lit a fire under the 28-year-old rapper who plans to push through for his countless fans waiting for new music.
