Jay-Z will Receive President's Award at NAACP Image Awards

Presently, the music head honcho has another honor to add to his rundown of achievements. As indicated by reports, Jay was selected for the honor dependent on his "devotion to conveying attention to the issues of the Black people group Including efficient bigotry.'

"The President's Award is a respect we cautiously present to an individual, keeping up its criticalness and responsibility to perceiving perfection in an administration that legitimately influences our locale," expressed NAACP president Derrick Johnson. He proceeds, "Shawn Carter has been focused on revealing insight into the Black people group including orderly bigotry and uncalled for treatment under the law, using his worldwide stage to make eve enduring change. There is no preferred time over now, as we commend our 50th year, to respect him."

Congresswoman Maxine Waters will get the NAACP Chairman's Award, and radio host Tom Joyner will be regarded with the Vanguard grant.

The honors are set to air on TV One, March 30th. It will be facilitated by Anthony Anderson.
