Who is YungBart?

Born in Auburn, Alabama DeQuann T. Piner also known as “ YungBart” or for short YB Beats, started his music journey in the 2010s, growing up listening to hip hop & early trap music which influenced his sound, but that is not all he is a monetized YouTuber: YungBartTV, a traveling Chef, Aspiring Actor, and an occasional Photographer. He graduated from High School in 2014 & Culinary School in 2016, and by then, DeQuann's love of music had fully developed at age 7.

He began studying music and started uploading to SoundCloud and then discovered the website BeatStars where he made his first purchase of a beat & also got his first placement, as the years marched he continued to experiment with more sounds and eventually progressed darted collaborating with fellow producers in Atlanta, Colorado, and in other countries, that same year he relocated to Colorado where he had a career as a Traveling Chef and began to balance being a music producer & sous chef at the same time, on one random day he made the biggest placement to date when he sold an instrumental to a TV show (undisclosed for professional reasons) and he continued to work on my craft and continued uploading all beats to his official BeatStars page in 2020 he started his very own YouTube channel for music, vlogging and traveling as of May 2022 his channel is monetized. In 2022 he began his career as an Actor in Atlanta, Georgia there is so much more in store for his music career as well as acting career.

How did you start in the music business?
Back in 2010 in my bedroom, I started making beats at the age of 14. I downloaded FL Studio 8 and started watching tutorials on YouTube and that is what taught me music production, As the years went on I had to take a big music break to focus on Culinary school, and once I finished that, my return to music was well missed and much needed, in 2016 around summertime I went back to making beats at least twice a week.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Chill Trap, Video games like a trap, Drill inspired as well as occasional lofi & r&b bangers. I don't usually stick to just 1 sound because as a producer I like to figure out what I'm good at, sometimes I love what I cooked up and sometimes I don't but I like to know I tried something new.

What is the current project about?
Different sounds & waves I created that showcase my personality and different sceneries, throughout the years I've traveled to places such as Florida, Colorado, Wyoming, and even Mexico and they have inspired my current sound, When I was 15 I started on a Beats Mixtape and never got it finished, before the year is over that project will be available.

How do you feel it will inspire others?
It feels amazing to know my hard work is impacting others, I love seeing people live up to their full potential. I think that is so important, when you come from such a small town it feels great to know the world really knows about my craft and respects it.

What is your creative process like?
I am best at producing music in a quiet space with: my AKAI midi keyboard, studio monitor speakers, (and or headphones), my laptop, bottled water, fruit snacks, and amazing timing, it's important to produce music with a peaceful mind, the track will always show whatever emotion is displayed.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
That is such a tough question to ask... Most Definitely KANYE, Lex Luger, Bangladesh, Metro Boomin, Drumma Boy, Russ, and definitely Pharrel. i

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
Money Man, his energy is so Distinct.

What is one message you would give to your fans?
Chase all your dreams, only you can make this happen. Also, it's so important to save your money, I cannot stress Enough.

What is the most useless talent you have?
I have a journal full of unreleased books, thoughts, ideas, and stories that I need to finally get published. Is it too early to say I could become a future Author?

Do you sing in the shower? What songs?
What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
Haha, that is a funny question. Sometimes I play my Spotify playlist on shuffle and if the song is catchy that's what I will sing, my all-time favorite song Is Crunk Aint Dead by Duke Deuce. If it wasn’t for the time I spent on music I would probably be majoring in website design or computer science, my love for computers is something I have always been good at that I haven’t given enough time to, maybe spend more time with my nephew.

Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues?
Unfortunately, I have not had those experiences in my music career yet.

Do you have any upcoming shows?
Not at the moment.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
The Internet has made it a lot easier to get discovered as an artist, producer, or songwriter, all these resources out here you just have to do it at the best time. Building connections goes such a long way when you network well, the results will show LinkedIn has been such a good tool for me throughout my journey and I hope everyone out there has a LinkedIn account it really will put you on.

What is your favorite song to perform?
I would love to perform my own original song one day, whenever that talent is released I’m sure it will eventually have an amazing stamp on the music industry or even produce a song that has that type of momentum, I will feel so accomplished as a music producer to know the entire world is moved by a beat I cooked up in my bedroom.

What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
Oh wow I honestly can’t think maybe at the age of 15 I dared a friend of mine to pull the fire extinguisher and we both got busted, this wasn’t at school either.“

What is the best advice you’ve been given?
Just be yourself, & you will be surprised who is inspired”. "Laziness is the Father of Poverty"

What’s next?
I am also an ACTOR, so I have many projects on the way with that, my goal in life is to become so successful as a music producer that I am making money in my sleep, enough to start my own food truck business, as well as my own Chef Knife company, the world deserves my full potential and with creating the best music, or having the best moment for a scene as an Actor I feel I can accomplish this goal. As far as music, I promise it will be worth the wait, I hope to create the next wave for fellow musicians. It seems trap drums just will not die out.

What should the world know?
My Time is Now, get used to seeing my face everywhere real soon.
