Get to know Soundstream!

Soundstream is a HandsUp/Eurodance music band from Kiev, Ukraine, formed by Denis 'DJ FatCat' Timish and Alexander 'Bulya' Bulanov in 2008. Their first song entitled 'Feels Like Heaven' was recorded in September 17 and this date is considered as band's birthday.

Since that time Soundstream self-released several albums, hit several radio stations around the world and experimented with different electronic music genres, e.g. House, Electro, Dubstep, Trance. The band also faced different problems, like other bands, which also resulted in line-up changes.

The current members are:

·       Ann Pazyura (lead vocalist)

·       Yuriy Muktarov (rapper/MC)

·       Denis Timish (keyboardist/producer/songwriter)

In February 2016 Soundstream's song 'We Got The Sound' was nominated as 'Best Dance Song' by The Akademia Music Awards (Los Angeles, California). After some time Soundstream signed to German dance label DMN Records, which is now a home to many famous dance music artists of the 90s, e.g. Lane McCray (La Bouche), B.G. The Prince Of Rap, Linda Rocco (ex. Masterboy), Lightwarrior (ex. T-Spoon) and others.

On Semptember 1, 2016 Soundstream shot its first music video for 'Reach A Star' single, which was aired on TV in USA and Europe. This video was nominated as ‘Best Upbeat Song’ by the American TV show ‘My Music Block TV’. Also it reached #8 on MVUA, a Ukrainian analog of VEVO.

In February 2018 Soundstream released the new album entitled ‘Way To The Stars’. It contained 3 previously released singles – ‘Reach A Star’, ‘Back Once Again’ and ‘Dream For A Better World’. The single ‘Back Once Again’ reached #1 in the iTunes Chart of Spain.

Just in a week after album the band released the 4th single from it, which was entitled ‘Time To Fly’ and featured Freeze as a guest vocalist. This single entered Swiss Dance Chart Top-100. In two months Soundstream won The Akademia Music Award for the second time: ‘Time To Fly’ was nominated as ‘Best Dance/Electronica Song’!

The brand new single ‘Summer Nights’ is going to be released on 15/06/2018.

Mr. Wave was the highlight of the Connecticut Against Violence Summit.

At the third annual summit Tony "MR. WAVE" Wesley moves had everyone on their feet. Impressive is an understatement for the break dancing routine he performed. All the children started to dance and adults completely in La La Land. Mr.Wave is very down to earth in every capacity, this man who has traveled the world doing what he loves, as well as performing for past President, he has been on some of the most popular Television shows that we watch today such as soul train and other.  See below for video.

Bio:

Tony Draughon (“Wesley”) was born in the Bronx NY in 1965, a leap year baby (born February 29th. Tony the first son and second of five was born at a time in Bronx history and national history. The mid-60 and ’70s represented a time of economic decline for Bronx residents. The ’60s historically were a time of civil unrest throughout the nation and New York was no different.  The event that most captures the overall climate and cultural unrest of the ’60s in New York occurred on February 21, 1965, in the borough of Manhattan; Former Nation of Islam member, leader and civil rights activist Malcolm X was assassinated at the  Audubon Theater.  The impact of this event and the numerous civil rights movement activities of the ’60s were the precursors for much of what was to happen in the socio-economic and cultural world of the Bronx and much of New York (as well as other parts of the nation).  By the ’70s much of the immigrant population of Bronx had decreased many of the older generations were retiring and moving to warmer climates. By the ’70s the Bronx had become associated with a high rate of poverty and unemployment. Property owners hoping to cash out rather through insurance claim payouts rather than waiting to try and to sell property in economically distressed areas began to commit arson on their own properties. The Bronx fire, economic blight, the migration of much of the immigrant residents left a population of largely African-American and Hispanic residents became - the borough became associated with the very essence of urban decay.
