The Songwriter Ethan Johnson took the lead vocal Guardian (Kevin Campbell ) to Nirvana Studio where They recorded the lead vocal with some background vocals samples. The recording was then sent to the Producer Jeff Silverman in Nashville. Jeff then Produced the feat artist Debra Lyn and later added Natalie Jean on background vocals who traveled from Maryland to Nashville for a Grammy annual event. Black Rose Of Sharon has received several Nominations including the Hollywood Independent Music Awards, Josie Music Awards, Global Music Awards, and more. This song was submitted to the 66th Grammy Awards and was placed by the academy in two of their major category " Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year.
