Ohio shooting Nine Died and 27 Injured
Surveillance video shows the chaos unfold in Dayton, Ohio, as a shooter targets people out on a Saturday night in the Oregon District.
As shots ring out, individuals begin to run, dodging into bars and clubs.
Inside seconds, the shooter is pushed to the edge of total collapse by police directly before he's ready to enter a dance club that is brimming with individuals escaping from his frenzy.
Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl says his officials heard the shots, saw individuals escaping and quickly kept running toward risk.
"The officials quickly progressed toward the gunfire and inside around 20 seconds, they drew in the suspect, who was effectively discharging and endeavoring to enter a jam-packed alcohol foundation," the police boss said.
The speculated shooter, distinguished as Connor Betts, had the option to discharge many shots with a .223-bore high limit rifle with 100-round drum magazines, Biehl said during a public interview.
Nine individuals died and 27 others were harmed in the shooting.
