Let's all hope Wendy's gets it right, with this new direction. Wendy’s is automating its drive-throughs with an AI chatbot powered with the help of Google software, joining an increasing list of agencies adopting AI to grow.
The tech, which is set to debut in June at a company-owned restaurant in Ohio, will use a personalized language mannequin with the ability to understand special phrases used by customers, such as “JBC” for a junior bacon cheeseburger.
Google on Wednesday unveiled enhanced conversational search facets and made its chatbot Bard more widely available. This is the first time it has competed against Microsoft and startups to win over buyers with AI products. The facets use AI to generate more detailed summaries and ask follow-up questions, which let customers have conversations with the search engine. Google has stated that it places some restrictions on open conversations, which show increased inaccuracies.
